Winter Guard competes at Bellflower High School

Winter Guard placed first at the competition at Bellflower High School on Saturday, April 18. This is the last competition before the Winter Guard Association of Southern California Championships on Saturday, April 25.

Because of spring break, Winter Guard had not competed in one month, which was a break from its weekly competitions. There were also some last minute changes to the routine.

“When it comes to the routine I felt ready since we’ve practiced it so much it’s in our muscle memory, but mentally I don’t think anyone is ever ready for the season to come to an end so fast. It was nerve-wracking because there’s a lot of pressure to do well on the competition before championships,” junior Linette Tang said.
