ASB and USB Collaborate

Associated Student Body (ASB) participated in an event aimed at promoting cooperation with Diamond Bar High School’s United Student Body (USB) on Sept. 5. The event lasted two hours and was hosted at Diamond Bar High School right before the Branding Iron game.

This was ASB and USB’s second year hosting the event in which members of both organizations exchanged ideas, barbequed and played games together. The organizations discussed how to run ticket sales for dances, where to get items from the snack stores and how to organize pep rallies.

“We did this event to show that even though Walnut High School and Diamond Bar High School are rivals, we can all still get along. We got to really know USB and a lot of us have made close friendships with them as well,” ASB member senior Bridget Ise said. “It was cool to bounce ideas off of them. I really liked that we all just got to hang out. Overall, it was a nice bonding experience.”
