ASB starts “W” Club

ASB will be implementing a new club called “W” Club to promote school spirit during sports games this year.

For each game a student attends, a club member will stamp the student’s spirit shirt with unwashable ink, allowing students to accumulate more stamps throughout the year. At the end of the year, the student with the most stamps on his or her spirit shirt will be rewarded for exhibiting the most school spirit.

“The purpose of the club is to give a place for students who aren’t in a sport or involved with [other things],” “W” Club president senior Tony Dabbous said. “I hope to see students wear their spirit shirts, bring friends and participate in some of the activities we have planned. I hope [“W” Club] will get more people involved with school functions, even though they don’t physically participate in them.”
