IB students watch movie “Edge of Tomorrow”

Students in the IB program attended IB Movie Night on Thursday, Nov. 13. They watched the movie “Edge of Tomorrow” in the Performing Arts Center and socialized during mealtime in the multipurpose room.

Teachers were recommended not to give homework on the day of the event in order to encourage attendance, allowing students to get a break from the academic vigor of the IB curriculum.

“It was a lot of fun, and it was honestly one of the best nights I’ve had in a while. I thought it was a great way to get us IB kids to stop and just relax and remember to take it one day at a time while laughing with friends,” senior Alejandra Madrigal-Avina said. “IB is known for its closeness, but we hardly get the time outside of class to hang out [with one another], so the fact that this was organized and was so convenient was great.”
