Interact and Peer Counseling hand out care packages

Interact and Peer Counseling distributed care packages to students in celebration of World Kindness Day Monday, Nov. 14.

The activity aimed to increase positivity among students on campus. Members and Peer Counselors personally prepared and delivered each package, which contained an encouraging message along with a piece of candy.

“I think it’s really important to help others because you don’t know what they’re going through and these notes carried love,” Interact member freshman Meleia Lontok said. “It made me feel good because people were so delighted. I learned that even just the smallest act of kindness can brighten up someone’s day.”
