MSA organizes luncheon
Muslim Student Association (MSA) held a luncheon in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) Tuesday, Oct. 18.
The event was conducted to strengthen club spirit and increase the club’s involvement throughout school by allowing other visitors outside of the club to participate in the event. Members invited two teachers to the luncheon, and each prepared a dish for their guests.
“Since the students and the teachers [had] lunch together, we [got] to know the members and teachers more, which [was] a good bonding experience. It’s also another way for me to meet the other Muslim students at our school,” freshman Jineen Mashayekh said. “This is important to me because MSA is a place for Muslim students to bond and to get to know our religion more.”
