Virtual Financial Aid Night

Students, parents and GLCs attend the Zoom meeting.

Grade Level Coordinators (GLCs) hosted Virtual Financial Aid Night on Zoom Thursday, Sept. 9.

Students and parents were informed of the different options they have for financial assistance with college at the meeting. Rudy Sanchez, a representative from Mt. San Antonio College, presented information about what financial aid is using a slide presentation.

“I think that one of the most important jobs that I have as a GLC is providing resources for students,” GLC Corolar Schultz said. “I think that’s an awesome resource that can help students go to university.”

Sanchez also hosted a Q&A with the attendees in the meeting. Over 100 parents and students attended the meeting. A recording of the video is available on the Class of 2022 website for anyone interested in learning about the financial aid process.

“I feel good about the people that attended, because a lot of great questions were asked,” Schultz said. “I feel good about a lot of the parents that are going to look at the video later when they have time to just really go through it at their own pace.”
