“You Are Here” hosted by ACS, FAM, UNICEF and NHS

American Cancer Society (ACS), For All Mankind (FAM), National Honor Society (NHS) and United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) hosted their first benefit concert, “You Are Here,” at the Diamond Bar Center on Thursday, March 24. The money was raised for four nonprofit organizations: A Leg to Stand On, American Cancer Society, World Vision and the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund.

“It [turned out] pretty good. We had Jamie Beeman perform, and she made the attendees more hyped for the concert. Also, many people went to see Mr. Lim perform,” UNICEF cabinet member sophomore Tiffany Han said. “Although the planning process was very hectic, I think the overall event went well.”

The concert featured performances from junior Mariah Quintero, Walnut High School All Male dance team, alumna Sabrina Benedicto and junior Anna Chiang. After an intermission, Jamie Beeman, Mr. Lim and Will and Modern Anchor, an Alumni Walnut Band, ended the concert.
