With its sweet aroma filling my nostrils, I bit into the crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers. That’s the effect Chili’s “Triple Dipper” has on you: entrancing, satiating, captivating.
I drove down to the Chili’s in the City of Industry for calories galore. I had always wanted to try the Triple Dipper ($18.39) everyone was raving about. With this, you are able to pick three appetizers from the menu, from chicken wings to crispy chicken crispers to fried mozzarella sticks.
The serving sizes were generous, and I felt like my money was well spent. I ordered the Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers, Fried Mozzarella and Big Mouth Bites. My plate came out piping hot, and after a quick picture with my phone, I began to feast.
The Honey-Chipotle Crispers were fried perfectly. With the right mixture of sweetness from the honey and saltiness from the other seasoning, I devoured the appetizer within minutes. Next up was the Honey Chipotle Mozz. It was your average mozzarella stick, but at least it had a decent cheese pull. Lastly, the Big Mouth Bites lived up to its name. These three mini-burgers, filled with bacon and sauteed onions, dipped in Chili’s special ranch sauce, will always have a special place in my heart. Nothing can really go wrong with a good ‘ole burger.
Overall, I will definitely be back to snack on a couple more Triple Dipper appetizers. Ω
