Peacock

Peacock offers a multitude of different options for subscribers across many genres with National Broadcasting Company exclusive titles such as “ER,” “The Office,” the Olympics and “Saturday Night Live.” I especially like this service because it has live National Basketball League games streaming. Along with this, the movie selection isn’t too bad, having really well-rated movies on occasion. 4/5

Disney+

Disney+ has popular Disney intellectual properties such as “Mickey Mouse,” “Star Wars” and “Marvel” exclusively on Disney+. The price for Disney+ by itself is $12 with advertisements and $19 without advertisements. All Disney titles being on this service makes this service a must-have for and long-time Disney fans, but a clear downside is the lack of non-Disney blockbuster titles. 3.5/5

Hulu

For a dollar more ($13 with ads and $20 with no ads), Disney+ subscribers can add Hulu as an add-on. The Hulu catalog is diverse, having a plethora of networks ranging from “FX” to “Comedy Central,” Hulu has an assortment of different genres to explore. It is rare for a popular blockbuster to be on Hulu’s catalog so some months I don’t touch the app at all. 3.5/5

Netflix

Netflix offers a number of originals such as “Squid Game” and “Stranger Things.” Aside from their hit TV shows, there isn’t much else that makes Netflix worth $8 per month with advertisements and $18 per month without advertisements. Overall, the service doesn’t have much, only occasional blockbusters for the family and some other good shows that are worth watching. 2/5

HBO Max

HBO Max, my favorite streaming service, has many popular shows on their service such as “The Last of Us,” and a film catalog that has classic films like “IT” and new films such as “Sinners,” making it a worthwhile purchase. Overall, I really enjoy this streaming service and I feel that the $11 with advertisements and $18.50 without advertisements is worth it. 5/5

Prime Video

Patrons of Amazon Prime have accessibility to the Amazon Prime Video service. This service has originals such as “Invincible” and has the biggest movie catalog. From new to old movies and film, Prime Video has a lot to offer for subscribers but not as many as HBO. I personally love this service, and I think it’s definitely worth $9 for anyone who enjoys a wide variety of content. 4.5/5
